Solid start of the week with the previews pretty much being spot on and luck not being against me which resulted in close to 1 unit profit. 6 more matches to go in week 21 with 4 that are being played tonight.
Cercle Brugge vs Union
Cercle Brugge is still an ok team but they seem to be somewhat past their best form which they reached against all the weaker opponents. They are 10th in the league and safe but come of 2 losses and a draw. Union on the other hand continues to swing and impress not showing any signs of fatigue. Their last away match wasn't their best but they were without Teuma who is back by now. This should be a match with a healthy drive from both teams to go forward with Union overall being the team that has more quality. Union recently is averaging a lot of corners in their match, 15.33 to be exact in their last 6 matches on average. Cercle also went to at least 10 in their last 5 matches. I took 0.2 units on
Over 10 Corners @ 1.850 with an eye to possibly increase my stakes in-game early on. I also took tiny 0.1 unit bets on
Union 1H +0 @ 1.630 and
1st Half Over 1 @ 1.85. Union hasn't lost a 1st half away in their last 7 matches while cercle mostly managed to do well against poorer teams. Combined they are 4L-7P-8W on the 1H Over 1 line.
Oostende vs Antwerp
Oostende is a tricky team at times not playing bad but other times being nowhere and giving it away or just getting unlucky. Antwerp played some excellent matches recently but not so much last weekend against Union. This is one of those matches that I just gladly skip pre-game and I will wait to see how the in-game match picture looks before possibly getting something in or just stay away all together.

Kortrijk vs Seraing
Seraing is on of those teams that on paper should be just too weak but they somehow still manage to take quite some points, especially in away matches. They are still last in the overall standing but took a draw and a win in their last 2 games. Away against Oostende they were dominated in the 1st half but found a way to break down Oostende in the 2nd half. Kortrijk has been playing better since their new coach came and are in what I consider a good form for them. Being a rather big favorite however is something different and I'm not fully willing to back them at the current price. Seraing this season has lost every corners matchup so far and I do see a scenario where they lay back trying to lure on counters while Kortrijk starts out playing in their half. I already toon 0.15 units on
Kortrijk 1H -0.5 corners @ 1.620 with an eye to take more if extra handicap offers become available in-game.
Anderlecht vs Zulte-Waregem
Anderlecht remains somewhat of a mess and they tend to lose their good matches and take points somehow in their bad matches. Their only real striker Silva is not happy and wants to leave the team and they already had a hard time to score goals. Zulte-Waregem in this new year seems to be in a revival with Bruls and Vormer bringing a lot more experience and stability in the team which also helps with their overall drive. Still they managed to create few chances and so it was the case for Anderlecht. Both teams combined in their last 3 matches averaged just 3.33 shots on target. (4 Anderlecht, 6 Zulte). For me, Anderlecht remains an overrated team that I'm willing to oppose at the right times while Zulte at the moment based on what they showed in their previous matches is a team that I'm willing to back. Anderlecht on top from as far as I know will be playing without fans. I took 0.4 units on
Zulte-Waregem +1.25 @ 1.800 early on and also a crypto bet of 5000 WGR on Zulte +1 @ 2.01 over at
Wagerr.com. I also took tiny 0.1 unit positions on
1st Half Under 1.25 @ 1.783 & Under 2.75 @ 1.990 Anderlecht in their last 7 home matches averaged 15.2 corners while Zulte this season went to 10 or more half of the time. I can see a match with good intention but lack of scoring power which results in mostly corners. I also took 0.2 units on
Over 9.5 Corners @ 1.850 with an eye to possibly take more in-game.
