Jupiler League Week 24 Thursday | Club Brugge vs Union

One more match in week 24 between Club Brugge and Union who are the top 2 teams right now. So far the mid-week has resulted in a minor profit and I'm taking a cautious approach for this last match.

Club Brugge vs Union

Union is 1st in the league with a 9 point lead over Club Brugge and they have played the perfect season so far having an A-Squad who is a real team that has stayed clear of injury problems so far and they are in a good streak. They both scored the most goals and got the least against and they also had luck with them so far. Last weekend they won 2-1 at home in the last minutes against Genk where they played a counter-style game keeping things closed in defense and scoring at on one of their first chances. 1-1 at the end of the match would have been fair but they got a late cheap penalty. Club Brugge as a team is very similar to the best period in their champion years but the results and dominance haven't really been there so far causing them to drop a lot of points. I don't expect Club Brugge to start this match aiming or capable of being really all that dominant being very much afraid of the deadly Union Counters. The Union match against AA Gent ended in a disappointing 0-0 draw and the match against Genk also was not crazy offensive. My lean went toward Union +0.5 and Under 3 but both lines already got hit a bit. I still do like the 1st Half Under as I feel it's too much influenced by statistics from totally different matches. I took 0.4 units on 1st Half Under 1.25 @ 1.813 which is the bet I'm by far the most comfortable with.
