Week 23 turned out quite red especially on the pre-game and the crypto bets which pretty much all lost. Overall long-term I'm still in a good green zone and I will be taking a more cautious approach again during these mid-week matches even though I ended up with bets on each of the 3 matches today...

Antwerp vs Sint-Truiden

Antwerp is currently 3rd in the league and in good a pretty good form with most of their players available. They are a team that so far comfortably managed to beat their Asian handicaps both home and away (13.5W-6.5L-2P) and they also have quite some corners in their matches. 17-5 on at least 10 or more. Stvv took a rather close win last week against Seraing who played defensively in the 1st half but who were actually the slightly better team most of the 2nd half. They are still missing De Ridder and Kagawa hasn't arrived yet. The visitors likely will play on the counter with initially a defensive approach. It should be a matter of time before Antwerp manages to score. If the first goal comes, they will have to open up giving Antwerp all the space to score more which made me go with a smaller stake 0.150 unit bet on Antwerp -1 @ 2.66, I also took a tiny 0.1 unit bet on Antwerp 1st Half -0.25 @ 2.01 as they so far never lost a 1st half at home this season. Depending on how the match plays out, I might add to these bets.

AA Gent vs Oostende

AA Gent still has a lot of missing players on all positions with Ngadeu, Odidja, Depoitre, Tissoudali. They played a boring 0-0 match against Charleroi with both teams focussing on defense. Oostende started the match against Antwerp defensively laying back and luring on the counter at home and I expect a similar approach today. This will be their 2nd match after their success coach left. They managed to take the lead early in the 2nd half but were not able to keep Antwerp from scoring 2. I don't expect a wide-open start of the match with Oostende laying back and AA Gent trying to go forward with the needed caution. I did opt for a 0.25 unit pre-game bet on 1st Half Under 1.25 @ 1.890 and a 0.15 unit bet on Under 3 @ 1.970. That's it for this match.

Charleroi vs Kortrijk

Charleroi lost a lot of scoring power which left them to lose 0-3 against antwerp in their first match after the winter break. This got them to tighten their defense which resulted in a 0-0 against AA Gent in a match that was low on chances. They are now with losses and a draw in their last 3 matches and things are not looking that optimistic for them. Kortrijk took a 1-1 draw in a match where they played a good first half where the first couter got them 0-1 behind. In the 2nd half they were not able to put the same performance as the 1st half but they did get the draw in the end. They are however unbeaten in their last 5 games and I don't see the gap between both teams as big as the odds suggest. They also have been a good away team while Charleroi hasn't beaten their handicaps at home. I did take quite a few bets on this match favoring Kortrijk and the Under. I took Kortrijk +0.5 @ 1.940 (0.2 units) & 1st Half Under 1 @ 1.940 (0.16 units) | & Kortrijk +1.5 Corners @ 1.5 corners @ 1.920 (0.2 units). Charleroi at home in their last 5 matches never covered that handicap on the corners generally doesn't get crushed on the corners.
