Censorship in the internet and web 3.0

Since his inception, man has been striving for liberation, whether from being subject to anyone or even subject to nature and trying to break the restrictions around him and have more than one available option so that he is not dependent on anyone.

Censorship is one of the things that are not acceptable to humans, as whatever is forbidden is not acceptable to many people, so people try as much as possible to get rid of the restrictions, whatever they are.

This applies to governments and other laws that put censorship on people and people see them as a kind of dictatorship, whether these laws are really unjust or because people are ignorant of them and their importance, so he considers them restrictions on them.

Censorship in the internet

As for the Internet, since its inception, it has been a means of output only, anyone can see what it is, and then it began to turn into Web 2, and any user can participate, express his opinion and write whatever he wants, and here the problem began, as some saw that the restrictions placed on him on the Internet are unacceptable.

These restrictions are either by not allowing him to access some services or because he is prevented from writing some opinions, which if he does, he may be subject to a ban or even delete his account, and this is what happens, for example, in Facebook and Twitter.

Although some of these usage policies may be appropriate and not unfair, as we mentioned above, the nature of man does not accept any restrictions placed on him and tries to get rid of them.

The solution, which was welcomed by many interested people, was Web 3, which allowed users to express their opinions without any censorship, bearing in mind also that those posts or comments he writes remain preserved forever and can be viewed by everyone.

But in any case, it is better than the restrictions that are placed and lead to the deletion of those comments or publications, which causes great anger among users on social networking sites.

But in the end, the continuous development of the Internet towards giving the user complete freedom to express his opinion is a wonderful development and is no less important than the technological development in tools and services.

Web3 is the best option for those of us who love freedom in every sense. It allows us not only to express ourselves, but also to develop ideas and actions that guarantee that freedom and ownership of your content and virtual assets. Although patterns are established that could imply censorship of some kind, in general, it is an action coming from a large community that has agreed on what and how to censor, without ever failing to the principle of decentralization and freedom. I love web3. Regards.

I am of the view that age should be considered in the bargaining for censorship or not. It is not wrong to be free to operate but when men are given freedom, to go to the extreme to exploit the opportunity.

In recent times, you will agree with me that the internet has become a menace to school kids who were allowed to surf without censorship.

Pornography, violence, bullying and so many other vices are on the high.
So, censorship should be a welcome idea considering age.
