Realmente esta pandemia nos limitó mucho económicamente, pues antes de que todo esto ocurriera yo estaba dedicada al comercio informal con mi novio, juntos viajábamos hasta el país hermano, Colombia para comprar mercancía y traer a Venezuela y vender a pesar de toda la situación económica que actualmente atraviesa el país, la verdad nos fue muy bien, pero cuando llegó la propagación del Covid19 y todas las restricciones, todo se nos limitó, los viajes estaban suspendidos, y ni hablar de las ventas en la calle, realmente se nos complicó mucho el trabajo y a pesar de lograr emprender en otros productos, la situación nos obligó a utilizar los pocos ahorros que nos quedaban, hasta que quedamos sin capital, a la espera de lograr nuevamente estabilizarnos para continuar con nuestro trabajo para estar más desahogados como anteriormente nos encontrábamos, pero muy a pesar de la situación le damos gracias a Dios todos los días por permitirnos estar vivos para luchar por traer el sustento a nuestra mesa. Los planes siempre pueden cambiar, pero los planes u objetivos deben mantenerse, y nuestros planes siguen intactos, uno de ellos es emprender nuevamente para tener capital para establecer un negocio y que mi novio de esta manera logré sacar sus papeles marítimos, y así, pueda conseguir un empleo en una embarcación de pesca, que acá en Venezuela es muy bien remunerado, lo que nos permitiría estar más estables, obteniendo nuestras cosas, sin olvidarnos de nuestras familias.

What plans did you have when this modality arrived?

Actually, this pandemic limited us a lot economically, because before all this happened I was dedicated to informal trade with my boyfriend, together we traveled to our sister country, Colombia to buy merchandise and bring it to Venezuela and sell despite all the economic situation that It currently crosses the country, the truth was we did very well, but when the spread of Covid19 and all the restrictions arrived, everything was limited to us, trips were suspended, and not to mention street sales, it really became very complicated for us work and despite being able to undertake other products, the situation forced us to use the few savings that we had left, until we ran out of capital, waiting to be able to stabilize again to continue with our work to be more comfortable as we previously found ourselves, But despite the situation we thank God every day for allowing us to be alive to fight to bring sustenance to our 1st table. Plans can always change, but plans or objectives must be maintained, and our plans remain intact, one of them is to undertake again to have capital to establish a business and that my boyfriend in this way managed to get his maritime papers, and thus, he can get a job on a fishing boat, which here in Venezuela is very well paid, which will allow us to be more stable, getting our things, without forgetting our families.

• ¿Actualmente como llevas tú día a día?

Aunque me ha costado mucho, he aprendido a controlar un poco lo apresurada que vivía y veía la vida y el tiempo, actualmente igual me estreso, porque realmente es inevitable no hacerlo en Venezuela por la dura situación que vivimos y que muchas veces nos frustra, pero me tomo las cosas con menos presión que antes, además inicie la práctica de ejercicios, lo que me permite drenar y mantenerme un poco más tranquila y alegre. En esta situación lo mejor es mantenerse siempre evolucionando, experimentando y aprendiendo todo aquello que se nos ocurra, nunca se sabe cuándo debamos poner en práctica algo que aprendimos en estos tiempos. Sin dudas, lo mejor es disfrutar cada instante que la vida nos da, aprovechando cada momento, cada vivencia y cada cosa por muy negativa o positiva. Esta pandemia realmente nos enseñó a vivir y a demostrar todo aquello que creíamos que nunca haríamos.

• How do you currently carry you day to day?

Although it has cost me a lot, I have learned to control a bit how hasty I lived and saw life and time, currently I still get stressed, because it really is inevitable not to do it in Venezuela due to the difficult situation we live in and that many times frustrates us, but I take things with less pressure than before, in addition to starting the practice of exercises, which allows me to drain and stay a little more calm and cheerful. In this situation the best thing is to always keep evolving, experimenting and learning everything that occurred to us, you never know when we should put into practice something that we learned in these times. Without a doubt, the best thing is to enjoy every moment that life gives us, taking advantage of every moment, every experience and everything, no matter how negative or positive. This pandemic really taught us to live and demonstrate everything we thought we would never do.

• ¿De verdad todo fue positivo?

La verdad no, lógicamente tras la propagación de un virus tan letal como el coronavirus, no se puede hablar de un positivismo total, especialmente cuando los planes económicos y sociales se han visto tan afectados. Esta pandemia ha ocasionado muchas muertes, limitaciones y situaciones muy adversas. Pero nunca debemos abandonar nuestra fe, y nuestra energía optimista, estoy segura que en un futuro no muy lejano lograremos renacer como el ave Fénix. Además podremos alcanzar todos esos proyectos que quedaron estancados a causa de la pandemia. Además estoy segura que lograré viajar nuevamente y hacer una visita al estado Trujillo donde se encuentra la familia de una gran amiga, que perdió la vida este pasado mes de mayo.

The truth is not, logically after the spread of a virus as lethal as the coronavirus, one cannot speak of total positivism, especially when economic and social plans have been so affected. This pandemic has caused many deaths, limitations and very adverse situations. But we must never abandon our faith, and our optimistic energy, I am sure that in the not too distant future we will be reborn as the Phoenix. We will also be able to achieve all those projects that will be stalled due to the pandemic. Furthermore, I am sure that I will be able to travel again and make a visit to the Trujillo state where the family of a great friend is, who lost her life this past May.
