Don't Forget The Second Layer Holds Value
Growth on HIVE is not complete unless you are growing your tribal tokens and other investments at the same time as they are integral to the overall growth of your account. I pay as much attention to my tokens as I do to my HIVE growth as there is value there and it will reflect at some point.
Certain projects stand out more than others, but that doesn't mean you sell them as who knows what happens 6 months from now. Expect the unexpected is what we have all been accustomed to do these days as development is happening even if we cannot see it or even know about it.
Last year in November when HIVE was at $3.41 the Leodex wallet reflected the rise in value being around $25K and was about 10% of my HIVE account value. Not bad for tokens that are in many cases less then 1c normally and why we need to pay careful attention and not to overlook the obvious. Now imagine a Hive account that is worth over $1 million in a few years time holding 10% or possibly more in the second layer tokens.
The habit of staking everything that comes in daily is part of my routine and why would it be anything different to HIVE? I checked this morning on Hivestats as at the bottom of the page is a Hive Engine rewards break down.
116 HIVE for 30 days in tribal tokens doesn't sound like much but multiply that by 60c and suddenly that is still $70. That is a lot of tokens considering the price of most of them. Now if one or two tokens starts to gain in value then suddenly it becomes more important and why paying attention and stacking is vital.
Who can forget when Leo at one stage was 4 x the price of Hive as always expect the unexpected. Leofinance has been killing the development side of things for some time and with the launch of Threads Taskmaster reminded us of the revenue earned by advertising in one of his posts yesterday. This may be insignificant now, but give it time and this could easily explode the Leo price again. There is no reason why the Leodex wallet cannot be worth 10 x what it is currently again and possibly much more.
