No Such Thing As Easy Crypto

source

In Crypto the learning never ends as one is always learning as the landscape changes constantly.

I do think the biggest misconception everyone outside of Crypto has is that it must be easy money. The stories of earning a quick $10K or $100K may happen, but they are few and far between with high risk pumps. These are similar to the stories of those that frequent the casino and tell you about their winnings, but not their losses. There are no free meals here and this is all about working hard and staying on top using your various resources to learn.

Over the course of the last 4 years in Crypto I have learned so much and taken note of what happened over those 4 years. Lessons learned and just the knowing of how quickly things can change is some of the important factors one cannot ever forget.

The journey has been something else as today my portfolio is worth close to $50K which is rather decent considering that $0 is the amount what I started out with. The hope is this will be a rags to riches type story and that story is progressing along very nicely. A 50K starting point now gives me a chance to turn that into a 6 or 7 figure sum over the next Crypto cycle. The 7 figure may have to wait for the cycle after next, but there is always hope and the unknown.

I see the $50K as being rather important right now as who has $50K lying around knowing that this figure is a hell of a lot bigger when the cycle turns and prices start going back up. Then again the bottom may not be in and it could easily drop another 25%, but that makes no difference as the targets of a 7 figure sum will be achieved and have no doubt.

The prices are way down from where they once were and that is not that important as they will bounce back and be even higher over the next 3-4 years. The journey so far tells you that the growth projection you are currently on will achieve and decimate all projected targets.

The weird thing is people will tell you how lucky you are not knowing how much time and effort has gone into your portfolio. Crypto has the image of easy money and this is so far from the truth as this takes work. This is not like it was 7 or 8 years ago where you just had to turn up to start printing profits. Months of serious research which may turn up with no additions to the portfolio as finding those gems is difficult. The next five years will be even harder and every cycle thereafter as at some point the volatility will die down as Crypto matures. The only problem is the projects that are any good will already have serious value.

It was only last year that I started looking at projects outside of Hive as not having all the eggs in one basket was the worry. The idea of creating a portfolio allowing various investments to grow at different speeds. This just gives a more all rounded type of investment spreading ones risk.

Crypto takes not only hard work but a dedication in order to succeed as there are no charity handouts. Very few actually make life changing money as they often repeat the same mistakes over and over again. Those that got in really early are the ones who benefitted the most and those days have now changed with a totally different approach required.

I think it is hard to guess right now what is going to happen or where we will be at. No one really knows what the next bull run is going to look like. A lot of it will depend on how much closer we are to mass adoption. If we are finally there it could be huge. If not, then it might be closer to what we saw this last time.

Of course, I want the money for a better life, but, my friend, my priorities have changed! I want with blockchain technology a better world unhooked from central banks! Have you read the book "Anarchist Banker "by Pesoa? I dream of something like that!

Yeah crypto can quite a lot of work. My portfolio's been on quite the rollercoaster last couple years. While we've hit a bear market, I think people should see this as an opportunity to buy nice little bags here at these prices but not too much since we don't know if prices could go even lower. People don't always like to admit to their losses so online a lot of what we see are just victories. Hard work doesn't always mean rewards -- sometimes it just means you're working harder than others to stay deeper in the game because you can't win if you don't play or, even worse, if you give up.

Step 1: Buy $60,000 worth of HBD
Step 2: Put $60,000 worth of HBD in savings offering 20%
Step 3: Withdraw $1000 worth of HBD every month

...crypto sounds super simple to me ;)
