China is the biggest culprit adding another 43 coal powered plants this year alone. The rest of the world can reduce but what is the point if others are just increasing. What Russia is doing is combining both green and blue energy supply right now but the aim is to be green at some point which is good.

yeah, i am still amazed with jurisdictions looking to build capacity in coal plants. It's high time we discover a tech that pollutes less or have a circular use case with no polluting by-products.
The tech is there but due to costs is not used and that is where the problem lies. Take away the expense and match coal power and they should all convert. Tax the industries and make it equal is the only other alternative but that would be too drastic.
