True Wealth Takes Time

I think this is self explanatory and is so true.

A little patience goes a long way and those that understand this will do very well from their crypto portfolios. You may get lucky along the way with a certain investment doing a 10x or 100x but that is all part of the journey.

I soon realised when I entered crypto over 4 years ago that this would take time and never expected instant riches and Lambos as that only happens if your timing is right. Buying 1000's of Luna for next to nothing could transform your life within a couple of years.

There is definitely a process in crypto that needs to be followed and the first step is to understand what you are involved in. These crypto currencies are as volatile as hell so staying calm and growing no matter what is the way to get ahead and come out in front.

This is exactly as how I see it and I do think this has some truth to this as it makes sense. The first cycle you are involved in you are wide eyed and unsure of what is coming next and take the hits personally when your portfolio is decimated. the second time around you are fully aware and not bothered about the markets as growing is what is the most important.

Every year you are involved is important as this is your foundation for the future. I kind of like the market as it is right now as there is far more opportunities to grow. Hive is Hive as we grow no matter what but the rest of the portfolio is about adding slowly whenever the market dips as growing slowly will always win the race.

If you treat your portfolio like a business then you will succeed as we all know you allow it to become sustainable before taking funds out. Many businesses take 5-10 years to become fully sustainable and your portfolio also needs time to get to that point.

I don't expect tp retire in 5 years but the reality is the possibility may be there depending on what has been achieved in the next cycle. In crypto the beauty is you don't need to retire as this is 24/7 and the knowledge we have gathered over time will only earn us far more than what we have.

Crypto is the exact opposite of the twitter feeds as patience is the winner and not "WEN MOON" as that is the retail market who have no clue. We are still so early and adding the zero's to our portfolios will happen over time.

Very insightful! I have a similar mindset.
While its obviously nice to hit a 10x or 100x every now and then, you can't rely on that if you want to build real wealth

Looking out, I want to see how well my own portfolio does in 5 years and I don't really expect to retire anytime soon. At least I wouldn't bother basing it on a number value that could change very quickly. Most of the time, you need to wait to see whether or not things will work because you can safely retire.
