SuperBowl Sunday

It is SuperBowl sunday, even though here in Denmark the game first starts after midnight, so very early monday.
I normaly watch the game with some friends and eating "local" american food from the cities or states of the SuperBowl teams or the host city.
We normaly meets around 6-7 PM and makes the food and eats it, might be spread out over several hour, and usualy watch a foball movie or an old game until game time.

The food

We have made Rothlisburger(Steelers), Gumbo(Saints), Baltimore Pitt Beef(Ravens), Clam Chowder(Patriots), Beer Cheese Soup(Packers),Seatle Fish and Chips(Seahawks), Chimichanga(Arizona?) and Key Lime Pie anmd we aways make a Banana Cream Pie as a dessert.

We also have popcorn, candy, soft drinks, good beer and lots of coffee

This Year

Unfotunatly i am watching the game alone because my friend are sick.
I dont know who i want to win. I like the Bengals because of the cinderalle story but i would alse love to see Matt Stafford win after all his years in NFL purgatory in Detroit.

@cryptokim03 - your ListNerds URL has a period at the end of it. You meant this:

https://ctptalk.com/@cryptokim03/superbowl-sunday

but you linked this: https://ctptalk.com/@cryptokim03/superbowl-sunday.

Notice the dot (period) at the end. I stripped that off to come read your post. :)

That's a wonderful idea to make food based on the team's city. I am from Mobile, AL which is two hour drive east of New Orleans. We eat gumbo regularly because of the creole\cajun influence in the area and within my family.

Thank you for the notice, this happens when i dont do the elementary things like checking the link.
We eat local food because it is a good way for us to taste new food, we may not like it but we are trying different and maybe wonderful things.

Hey I came here from the listnerds mail, and the link in your mail takes the . at the end with it thats why you get an error that the content was not found.
Just wanted to let you know, better not putting any semicolons after the link.

That is a decent variety of food and I like the idea of making food based on the teams.

As other people have commented, you have an extra period in your Listnerds link.

I saw your ad in Listnerds and your Link is not valid because you put a period at the end. For example, you wrote https://ctptalk.com/@cryptokim03/superbowl-sunday.
Just log into your ListNerds back-office edit the email and remove the period.
Just trying to be helpful :-D
I liked and upvoted your email, and gave this post an upvote.

That is a cool way to celebrate the superbowl, it's to bad you have to watch it in the middle of the night.. The last restaurant I worked at used to run themed specials for the superbowl teams. We did things like Philly cheese steak for the Eagles, Lobster roll for the Pat's, BBQ for the Chiefs and In-N-Out burgers for the Rams.
