Getting a perspective of the size of Hive in relation to the big caps, and I am bullish about Hive.
What is the small red dot somewhere in the middle?
Yes, you guess it.
It is Hive.
It is a small fraction of BTC in terms of coin market cap.
Hive has a market cap of $179.6M, while BTC stands at $399.27B, based on https://cryptobubbles.net/.
I posted this to get a sense of how big or small Hive is, in the crypto market.
In terms of market cap, it is indeed small.
But in terms of ranking, its ranking of 156 among the truckloads of crypto projects isn't that bad!
As the market expands, with more projects coming on, being in the top 200 is a great feat, in my view.
Hive already has some kind of foothold in relation to the others.
Thus, I am bullish about Hive!

Yes, Hive is doing great, But it should be standing in the top 50 coins. BTC may have changed many people life, but Hive is helping many of us on the grass root level. I have seen thousands of People who are using hive to meets their daily needs by working and communicating with the community. Also there are people are who are doing the same by playing games built on the top of this amazing block chain. I'm hopeful one day Hive will be in top 50.

Hive at the moment I would define it more as a niche crypto; the fact remains that in our fantastic ecosystem things are done well.
The future will smile on us, I'm sure!

Not sure, man. I have a hunch that ETH may still stay up there. But it doesn’t make sense for us commoners to buy because the gas fees will kill us if we were to apply self custody. !PIZZA
Lol, yes. ETH is not going away anytime soon. It's securing its spot in the top. But I think here will be a shuffling in the coming bull market, some will rise up and some will fall down.
How can Hive be so close to ETH in terms of market cap, there must be a mistake I was thinking. Till I saw Hive is in Millions and ETH in Billions !LOL

... But you're absolutely right, being in the Top 200 is not bad and what's more maintaining for several years (any idea when Hive/Steem started?) is even more important in my opinion.... A lot of projects come and go, I've seen in the last 2 years. But I see people upvoting when their last post has been 3-4 years ago, which means that the project exists for quite some time already...
