If the bear doesn't kill me, I will be riding the bull when it comes.
If this is indeed a worse-than-ever bear market, can you imagine what it looks like when the bull market eventually comes?
The chart below is the BTC/USDT price movement from 2017.
The yellow bar is the period of the prolonged bear market.
What follows is the euphoric bull market on the right.
Now, if the current bear market doesn't kill me, I will be riding the bull when it comes.
It will still be hard to time the top when the bull market comes, but if the bear market is longer, I will be accumulating for a longer period, at a lower price.
Then it will be easier to sell a portion to get back what is equivalent to my capital (plus a small interest!), and let the profits run to see how far it can go.
There is no telling how long the bear market will last, and it might even go lower as the weeks progresses. There will be more in the market who will be fearful when the prices tank further. So be it.
I have faith in the coming of the hyperbolic bull phase, especially if the bear period prolongs.
There are a few caveats though. First, the bet must be on a project that I have confidence that will not go bust. Second, my DCA amount is my spare cash. Third, I have patience and can tolerate even worse bear conditions.
Considering these three conditions, I believe that if the bear doesn't kill me, I will be riding the bull higher when it comes.
When crypto gets even more mainstream due to its continuing development, the upside from the current price could be crazy when the bull comes!

That is how money is made. Do not get too discouraged (or crushed) when the bear comes out of hibernation and await for the bull to run.

The harder things fall, the higher they rise(In most cases!). I don't think we need to worry that much, let's just survive this bear market, the bull will thank us generously :)
