March 2023 checking of the author vs curation rewards

It is already April and I am just posting my regualar checking of author vs curation rewards for March 2023.

Let's zoom into the report for March 2023.

My HP was about 10,200 in Feb 2023, and now it has grown to close 10,400. That is an increase of 200 HP, or about HBD 80 at today's price. It's nothing to shout about, since I had already jumped up and down in an earlier post for reaching 10,300 HP.

What is puzzling is the figure below...

Why is my author reward so meager in March 2023!!!?

I suspect the figures are erroneous. Perhaps the apps didn't pick up the data accurately from the API. Be my guest, check out my profile here and see if you see anything amiss: https://hivestats.io/@cryptothesis.

I had been doing well in my author's reward, as far as I can remember. The dip on the right is disappointing.

Now I don't know what to make of this... except that Curation of 60 HP per month can be expected of a 10,000 HP account. That seems pretty consistent.

Maybe I should start crunching my own numbers directly from the blockchain myself soon.

The curation values should be quite stable and there shouldn't be any large issues unless everything you vote on gets downvoted. So I think HP is a great way to get a stable return.

Perhaps you've been posting less in March than other months? But your curation seems pretty stable.. It won't be long until it slowly increases overtime.

200 HP is not bad in a month. I too have been working on it for four months and I know how hard a person earns it. I have accumulated 330 hP within four months. My target is that by the end of this year I should have about twelve hundred HP. I post twice a day and make fifty comments. Best of luck for your future goals.

50 comments every day is a lot. I'm at 15-20 daily and I feel like I don't have a life any more !LOL

Many people who use #LeoThreads (https://alpha.leofinance.io/) say that they can easily make a lot of comments a day by just using that Hive dapp. 🤔 Users of that dapp can publish about any topic with no minimum character requirement, such as only a single word and a link pointing to their own post. 🤓 !PIZZA !LUV

Slow and steady wins the race. You have done very great job. The more our HP will be, the more our account wealth/value will be. In my opinion 10,000 HP is good for curation rewards. I also have the same dream to have 10,000 HP and I believe that if you work hard, your dream will surely come true.
