The beauty of immutability: My Hive account as a family heirloom

In my last post, I wrote about my treatment of crypto assets as farmlands that I will HODL.

Today I shall write about my seriousness in turning my Hive account into a family heirloom. Something that can be passed on to my child, and then to future descendants.

Passing down Hive accounts can be akin to passing down the family farmland as an heirloom.

Of course, for it to be valuable, hopefully, it is nicely powered up, and curation rewards are substantial as a result. :)

Imagine in the distant future, when Hive is ultra-matured as a blockchain ecosystem and the price of Hive is astronomical. If my descendants could benefit significantly from keeping the tradition of writing and curating regularly using this Cryptothesis account. That will be nice. Even nicer for the later generations, if they too keep Hive going strong!

Besides the monetary benefits, there is also the handling down of wisdom or at least experience via this account that is absolutely valuable. At least they will know how some people during the blockchain revolution worked hard to earn their keeps.

All this is assuming that the Hive blockchain survives (which I am confident about), and every single record written by me will remain on it. Given the immutable nature of blockchain technology, we would literally have a family history book for my future generations to savor!

And in my opinion, this is perfect. Not only will it give you something of worth to pass on but you will be building steadily without being shaken because you are in it for the long term.
