Update on Nimiq 2.0
The Nimiq Team posted the following on Twitter yesterday.
It seems like Nimiq 2.0, which will move Nimiq from proof of work to proof of stake, is about to be launched.
The price, based on the weekly chart, is at all-time low.
Maybe the only way is up when Nimiq 2.0 is launched?

I liked nimiq at first, the idea of browser mining. But I kind of lost some respect when the devs went to some tropical island bungalo and kept putting out videos of surfing and playthe est look best look I thought.
That’s indeed bad optics. I hope they prove themselves!
I'll circle back and take a second look at Nimiq. I actually have a wallet somewhere, though I don't think I could dig it out. Doesn't matter, it's empty. I made one of their little avatar guys too; I think it's a bee theme and hexagon if I recall correctly, like Hive.
