How to sew a waist coat and the pant material

The forerunner of the waistcoat first appeared at the court of Charles II in the 1660s. It originally evolved from a vest – as the garment is still known in the US to this day. As head of the newly-restored monarchy, the King wished to distance himself and his court from the extravagant 17th Century French style.

The first is measuring the appropriate length of the waist coat which is 20 inches and the shoulder 8 inches,the Frontline as 9 inches each.

Then using a linen for the back and cutting the linen into the same size with the waist coat length and sewing it together with the machine.

After the sewing by fixing the linen into the waist coat material,then turnout of the coat is needed,so a little space will be given for the turnout.

After that there will be a thorough pressing of the lron for a neater job and then the sewing of the Frontline will take place.

Then after that the fixing of buttons will be done to have a finished work.
