For me...

It would have been to focus much more on taking action on the things I was learning and discovering through reading books, attending seminars and watching videos.

It's my biggest stumbling block, knowing WHAT to do, but not taking action on it every single day.

Yep, if you don't take action, you will not go anywhere or have a chance at success.

I would change being distracted. I would make some momentum and get distracted but shiny objects.

oh, so true. I get easily distracted so created ways to manage distractions. Now I don't get as distracted but not like before.

At this stage of my life, I could write 3 books of regrets, but in terms of my online marketing journey. I should have never given up the first time around. I put in 5 years of my life and walked away with nothing to show for it, but when I came back; I knew what I shouldn’t do again.

That lesson learned should have been executed the moment I walked away, instead I should have continued grinding.

I think that's my biggest fear...I just had enough and decide it's time to call in quits, only to be so close to massive success...I think that is something we all need to master!

The good part about lessons learned is we do not repeat them unless we never learned the lesson to begin with.

I would say create your brand first and foremost. Back when I first started, ages ago, I never gave any mind to branding and I never had any success. I gave up and focused on my corporate job. Now looking back, I can see that you are your brand and your brand is your product. So focus on creating your brand.

Sometimes or many times for beginners in this world, lack of patience is one of the biggest mistakes. Wanting everything too quickly. Everything takes its time. And in this world everything has the right timing.

Oh that's the truth. Patience is much needed!

I learned the right actions to take early on in my journey, but I always made excuses. The one thing I would change is to take action and put everything I learned into practice as quickly as possible. I would have stopped making excuses and just dove right in head first!

I would've pushed through when it was difficult 20 years ago. I had moderate success with an ebook and site, and then due to issues with biz partner, etc. I walked away, similar to other stories on here.

I have no doubt that if I would have continued to pursue this with as much passion as I do now I would have a successful ebiz. Right now I feel I am on the cusp of turning a corner to take this up a level.
