I have been building several businesses online. The main idea was always to either sell an e-book or an online course. The problem I see with this approach is that once the e-book or online course finished, things are not the same anymore. The crypto online world is evolving so fast, that it gets very difficult to build a product that stays up to date for some time. I think nowadays things evolve so fast that a new business model is needed.

I have multiple set of the problems.

  1. I have content but I don't know what I need to do in order to turn to product.
  2. I don't know how to convert that product into sales like what needs to be done.
  3. How can I break from working on the business and letting it be working for me.

I am missing out on the crucial steps to scale and upgrade my current state. And that could be because of the limited funds and no deadline for this whole process. I think one problem into another cascaded into it could be causing or holding me back :)

This is a very interesting question. My experiance with online business, has been rocky with the usual ups and downs. Being an online reseller I have similar challenges as someone with a fulltime job trying to develop a lucrative side hustle.

Regardless of our business model the same problem will always be present. Developing good work habits so that your side hustle is just as lucrative as your normal job. We complete our main job and then with fatigue we happen to ease off, and procrastinate our income producing activites.

My struggle is in developing my Daily Mode of Operation, or my Standard Operating Procedure. I have my calender, plus I use tick journaling to try set my days up for major productivity, and lately I have been turning off all notifications in 1 or 2 hour chuncks to provide blocks of time where I work uninterrupted.

Yet there are still major projects that end up not being done or put on the back burners for months at a time. The scary thing is I am often suprised by how long a project has sat untouched. I know it is just discipline and organization, but it is quite the challenge.

If you were just starting out is there anyone out there that you would structure your work day like theirs or someone you used as a mentor to develop your DMO or was it something that you banged away at over the years?

In building a crypto portfolio, I fine it hard finding the whitepapers which show the use case for the crypto or utility token. Even here on the Hive Platform, I am hoping there is probably a place where all the whitepapers are located. Or how can a lay person that is newish to the hive platform research the use cases of various projects. I see posts related to different projects all the time but how can I be for sure that I am not just taken for a ride?

Nice, I think what is holding us back is our website! Need to do some serious work on it!

This is an ongoing problem that I have. Very often my sites will become quickly neglected as in many case I procrastinate working on them, in favor of posting more listings on other larger platforms.
That is something I will work on and hammer out before the coming new year :-)

In the beginning it is not easy to enter the world of cryptography, nowadays we are invaded with advertising and a lot of spam wanting to make us take certain decisions, many times without knowing what we are doing.
We have to be informed to look for trustworthy sites and search.

My questions is how
can we separate spam from reality?

How to know if certain content is true.?

Who to trust? What are the most up-to-date and truthful sites for us to make decisions on cryptography?

Basically staying informed is a good way to go. I get a lot of my crypto info from the ctp community, hive guide, and articles on Coinbase. normally when I have a question I can go to ctp community leaders like Jon, Blain, and Eliana. Also from TaskMaster every Tuesday & Friday :-)

So I always see ways to use YouTube and other of the centralized social media platforms for building a business. Do you think any of those methods would be worth transferring and trying to use them on say 3Speak in place of YouTube. More specifically I see people building channels on YouTube around stuff like relaxing music for meditation. So something like that transferred over to 3Speak for someone who doesn't want to show their face but wants to create content somehow.

Definately and your 3Speak audience would grow faster and be more lucrative than on YouTube, plus 3Speak has less rules than YouTube so your content can be a bit freer.
