The new CTPSB ranking – tokens and challenges
After the last post, I had the feeling that people wanted a bit more complete information regarding the new CTPSB ranking.
In this video, I present all the different components that will go into it. In a coming video, I will give more details about how the points of these components will interact with each other and define the ranking.
I would be glad to hear your feed-back, criticism and ideas regarding that :-)

Thanks for the update. Will there be the new ranking published anywhere? I am curious to see how it will work the new quests and feedback of posts. At the moment, I dont have any feedback or questions.
There will be a new ranking established at the end of a month. Every month the ranking is newly established and people compete with each other for the best ranks. Thanks for your comment! Appreciate it :-)

That sounds like a good idea and it will push people to make a few quality posts a month and it will help the people who actively engage with the CTPSB project.

Sounds interesting.
How will the post submission work? Will it need to be in the post payout window? Can it be an older one from the same month? Will the submission be asked around the end of the month (or rather have a deadline around the end of the month)?
People will be able to choose any post within the current month. So it doesn't have to be within the payout window. There will be a post from us about 10 days before the end of the month where people can submit the url to the post of their choice as a comment. If people fail to submit a post, they won't be kicked out immediately but they will have only 50% of the points of the previous post that they submitted. There will be a final date around the end of the month where we make the ranking. Thanks for your questions!

Will the ranking have the impact on the upvote given by ctpsb, i mean the percentage or it will be equal to all who get into the ranking?
The content part, the discussion part on the submitted post, is it between you and the person submitted or everyone will be involved as there are possiblities that it may go downhill if the comments are not taken the right way. Just a possibility to think about and implement some measures to prevent.

It will be a kind of yes or no. There will be a certain number of accounts that can be supported and the ranking will determine which ones.
I totally agree with you. This could be delicate. I'm not 100% sure how it will be done yet. Also this can be subjective and it's possible that I won't reveal the effective points attributed to a post in order to avoid annoying questions and justifications. I don't want to create tensions but rather encourage. The idea would be to give a feed-back how somebody could do even better but without quantitative judgment.
It sounds like you have put lot of thought into the new process for the CTPSB ranking. Sounds great. I look forward to it being implemented.
