HBD Supply In 2022
Here how has been 2022 so far for HBD.
This is freely circulating HBD, excluding the one in the DHF. This is the HBD that is counted when calculating the debt.
The year started with 14M HBD and the supply had a constant drop, reaching 7.5M at the end of July. Then at the end of July there is a spike in the supply with 1.5M HBD created in two days, thanks to the increase of the HBD price, and once more spike in August, this time a bit lower. At the moment the HBD supply is at 9.5M.
The debt for 2022 looks like this.

Very nice Data - as usual @dalz! Do you think there is kind of an correlation with the hive price? As Hive has dropped in value in the same period. Changing HBD to hive as long as Hive is cheap and do the opposite if Hive is mooning may be a good approach for a fan of this chain. From a global perspective it is also kind of dept-risk protective.
Yes there is a corelation with the Hive price ... when the price goes up, so does the hbd supply and the oposite
that's peanuts for a stable coin, how could we increase the number of HBD to hundreds of million needed for true mass adoption without messing up the economy ?
For that Hive has to become a multi billion crypro project :)
a pleb can dream I suppose :)
Meaning we can grow a lot :)
The debt ratio will be expanded in the next HF.
to which %? I can't remember now.
30% upper limit
This is very informative and thanks for sharing.
