In our today world of culture and social media highlight reels and also pushes a vapid, materialistic lifestyle on people but all this that has happened is actually making them empty and even unhappy, not less. Things,money and holidays can't actually make you happy any of that are superficial and fleeting empty.

However, most people have been living the lives of hopelessness or by burying their heads in the Sand at the increasingly dreadful state of the world as the climate and society collapse around us. Everytime greedy commercial enterprises sells us fantasies of life getting better through products and experiences while in reality the opposite is true.

Personally I have come to see that we are mostly distracted by the horrors in the world and by futile pursuits and empty dead-end jobs or or chasing goods and money despite we claiming we know from experience that these things can not make us happy and will not.

The west especially is utterly morally and spiritually bankrupt which will definitely express itself and unhappy people identifying as this that and the other engaging in all sorts of doomed efforts trying to be happy.

If the pursuit and endeavors on which we are encouraged to focus by this world made us happy, which is everybody increasingly miserable and the world sliding so fast
