I am Alive Challenge (Day 287): Utilize your Life wisely and Make it Count

Hello and welcome hiveans. I'm @daniky, and this is day 287 of my entry to #IAmAliveChallenge, an initiative by Eric Gustafsson @flaxz.

I thank God for the gift of life and sustenance. It's awesome to have your presence here as well. This challenge calls for us as individuals to appreciate being alive despite the challenges of life.

This flashes me back to the year 2020 when covid-19 became the order of the day. Many lives were lost within the hit of the period. Many children became orphans, while many fathers and mothers lost their kids to the cold hands of death as well. Many cemeteries were flooded with dead bodies than ever before while the whole world was gripped by fear. The wealthy saw life as vanity and the earth was gripped by fear. That moment was a moment I came to appreciate the worth of being alive.

Being alive is priceless and considered a moment of grace and reconciliation. It's a moment to make peace with people far and near. A moment to be our brother's keepers. It's also a moment of giving alms to the needy and less privileged as there are many people out there that needs your help or support towards one course or the other in their life. Life is expected to be utilized wisely while we are still alive and it is vanity.

So hiveans, kindly take this moment to appreciate your maker for the gift of life. Do good to others and appreciate every privilege you've gotten as this is given to you because you're alive and thriving. Stay safe, awesome and alive.
