Hi hiveans, welcome to the day 289 of my entry to #IAmAliveChallenge, an initiative by Eric Gustafsson @flaxz.

I thank God that I'm alive and thriving. Today's situation got me thinking and as well appreciating my Maker for this gift of life I'm privileged to hive. It's not by my power nor might nor by magic I'm alive today to witness this moment.

Something got me so scared to the point of almost losing my life today. I decided to use the restroom after 5 days of not visiting the toilet. I never pray for anyone to have this sort of experience I had. I never knew it would take a greater deal of strength to push when it comes to defecating. I exerted all strength and might within me to force something out of me. I felt a greater urge to defecate, but it refuses to come out. It took me over 5 hours to finally push and overcome the repulsive force. I almost lost my life in the process as I was left with no strength in me to push further but I thank God for His mercy. I've never had such an experience or imagined someone having such difficulty defecating talkless of being in such a situation. This was indeed an experience I can never forget in my life.

I've come to appreciate God for the ability given to me to defecate and carry out other life processes as other humans for free. Imagine yourself paying to carry out every life process, you'll realise it's priceless. I can never stop being grateful for this grace I've received. I've come to realise the little gap between life and death and also come to terms with the part of the holy book that says that "humans are just like a flower of the field which flourishes till when wind passes over it and it vanishes." Indeed, life is a vapour that lives within our cylinder. It is expected to be thoroughly and carefully guarded and never be taken for granted.

So hivean, value the life you have while you're still living and never take people's health for granted. Attend to that person that needs your help. The little help given to me by my friend resuscitated me and saved me the cost of losing my life today.

I'm glad that you're ok. I've been extremely ill in the past with that problem. It's not fun. Please increase your fiber and stay hydrated. God bless and keep you.
