#POBDAILY (#12): Children's Day Service and the Take Home
The Children's day service at church was pretty awesome and spectacular as they took over the lead of the day's program at church. This is where you discover raw talents that's about to explode. Their exhibitions were interesting from the start to the finishing. They led the opening prayer, praise and worship, ministration, choreography, words of wisdom, memory verse competition and so on and so forth. To God be the glory, the atmosphere was wonderful and we had all the course to glorify God for the day's service. Since i was on the instrument, i wasn't able to have their snapshot which i planned to do. I hope to get it from one of my friends at church and post it here.
A reference text was drawn from Ephesians 6 where Children were urge to obey their parent as it's rightful to do so. Honor your father and your mother so that your days will be long on earth. Parents were urged not to provoke their children as well. Parents were compared to be a builder whose building blocks are the children. The resources to build your child lies in your hands. So, if you fail in your responsibility as a father or mother, it'll be very difficult for such a parent to make heaven because we'll give an account of our stewardship on the last day while God will require an explanation of how you nurture your children while on Earth. Once a child is born, a record book is being open for them. So be very careful as parent.
Children were refered to the verse of the scripture which states that "When sinners entices you, never give your consent (Proverb 3:10)". Children were urged to study and meditate on God's word to have their ways prosperous with a good success(Joshua 1:8). Never follow bad friends, love one another as you love yourself and never involve in immoral acts. Face your studies and be diligent in all you do. Never take something that doesn't belongs to you. Learn to respect elders and be fair to people far and around you. Play gently and when you grow up to become and adult, never be rude to your parent irrespective of how taller than them you make look. God hates the proud gives grace to those who are humble. Be kind to people and never look at yourself that you're better than all other persons, so be humble and God will lift you high. What you're enjoying in life is Privilege. Make sure you care for your parent when they are gradually becoming older because what ever you do to them is likely what your children will do to you too when you become old. It's well with you as you keep to these rules.
After a while i got home my immediate younger sister came to visit. I wasn't able to make my post yesterday as we had lots of important things to discuss about. Thank God it all went well and awesome.
