Computer Accessories Shopping: Market Friday

Choosing the right case for your laptop is an important decision. It not only affects the look and feel of your device but also its function. A case that is too small or too loose can cause your laptop to overheat, while one that is too bulky can make it difficult to transport. With so many options on the market today, it can be difficult to know where to start from.

I had been using the same laptop case for a while, some parts had already

worn out and the body case of the system doesn’t look presentable. So today I

decided that it was time for a change.

I went to Ogbete Market in Enugu Nigeria, located the computer village Lane, and I went to my local electronics store and browsed through their selection of laptop cases. There were verities of laptop cases to browse through, I found one that I liked and decided to purchase it.

The Price for the laptop case ranged from $20 to $30, depending on the colour and style of the case
I purchased the case for $25 and I also changed it myself. the storekeeper was charging $3 to change the case for me, but because I have little knowledge about computer maintenance, I decided to change it myself.

I will share with you how I changed my laptop case. This is a simple task that anyone can do, and it only takes a few minutes.

First, you will need to gather the following supplies: a new laptop case, a Phillips head screwdriver, and a small amount of patience.
Once you have all of your supplies, simply follow these steps:

  1. remove the screws from the back of your laptop case with the screwdriver.
  2. carefully lift the back panel off of the case.
  3. remove the old laptop case from the back panel.
  4. insert the new laptop case into the back panel.
  5. screw the back panel back onto the case.
  6. admire your handiwork!

That's all, but there is more to it as you need to be more careful.

I'm really happy with my new laptop case. It's much more stylish than my old one, and it seems to be better quality too. I'm sure it will protect my laptop from any potential damage, and I'll be able to use it for a long time to come.
It completely changed the look of my laptop and I love it. It's so much more stylish and unique than my old case
Thanks for the new case, self!

While browsing the computer store, I found some interesting accessories that I think would be perfect for my home office. I found a wireless keyboard and mouse, a set of speakers, and a webcam. I also found a few cables and adapters that I need to connect to my new devices. But I wasn’t financially stable to purchase them.

After changing my laptop case, I went to my favorite furniture store and saw some beautiful television stands. I was curious about how much they would cost, so I asked the sales associate. They told me that the prices ranged from $200 to $500, depending on the size and style of the television stand. I was very surprised by this range in price and decided to do some more research before making a purchase.

How much does it cost to get a television stand installed?
The cost of installation for a television stand can vary depending on the brand, model, and size of the stand. It is best to consult with a professional to get an accurate estimate for your particular television stand. Generally speaking, installation costs for a television stand start at around $100 and can go up to $500 or more for a high-end stand.

Thanks for showing us how your market Friday went. Am glad after everything you like the laptop, because that the most important aspect after all effort and money put into it.
Also, am happy I visited your profile this afternoon, at least I have learnt something new from your post. The guide on how to install a new case. Someone like me, I never knew it's that easy to change the case but I have learnt today. I have copied and pasted the guide somewhere. 😄😄. Hope that's permitted ...?

How interesting to see. I first thought you was talking about a case to put the laptop in to travel. But you were talking about the case itself. Looks like a good fit again.
Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend 👋🏻☀️😁

Did you drop your link on my #MarketFriday post here?

Welcome to @MarketFriday!

It surprised me as I didn't see the front of your computer, so I just assumed that you were going to buy a new bag/case for it. Imagine my surprise when you pulled out the whole case for it.

So nice of you to show everyone the easy way to change cases. :)

A Phillips screwdriver and a whole lot of patience!! Ha! True. Some places will install your television stand for free when you buy it from them. I know that mine was, although it has been over two years ago. Of course, then you need to tip them. I hope you are able to get a wireless mouse and additional fun stuff soon. Life will never be the same once you have that. I cannot even remember what it was like before.

It has been very enlightening to read your post! Thank you for participating in #MarketFriday! I appreciate the time and effort that goes into putting a post together for the challenge. It is with great pleasure that I read through and realize how much we have all tried to include things in our world that may be unique to the area. I have learned so much about the different cultures of the world, especially the small things that go unnoticed except by those looking for them. Life is interesting, wherever you are, whatever you are doing. I hope the week has found you healthy and happy, as we all look to prosper in our way of life.
