dCrops Alpha packs are Sold Out - Land still available on dCrop ingame market

Three days ago I posted that I started playing dCrops.

At that time, there were over 20,000 dCrops Alpha packs left for sale. Now there are none left in the dCrops game. Due to the growth in Play2Earn players on the Hive Blockchain, most of the games are seeing an increase in new players.

Last night, I noticed there were only around a thousand packs left so I brought one with the only extra hive I had in my account other than the 10 I was saving for HPUD.

Since all the packs are sold out in game, you can only get them on the secondary market. Hive Engine is showing there are 6,645 packs in supply with 214 packs listed and the starting price is 7.9 Hive or $4.20 (@$0.532/hive). The price has therefore double in less than 24 hours.

Land is needed to be able to play dCrops and there was a chance of getting a land plot and seeds in each Alpha pack. When I purchased my first Alpha pack and opened it three days ago, I did not get any land so I went to the dCrops market and purchased two plots of Fertile (rare) Land for 0.67 Hive each.

You can still get land on the dcrops market but it will now cost you a lot more. If you are still interested in playing or investing in the short term, you may want to go purchase some land plots on the market.

I have not yet seen any announcement by the dCrops dev team if they will be creating new packs or what their next move will be. Once they make an announcement the supply and demand will probably change. If they were not already in the development any new changes may take a while to implement.

You may want to look at any of the other Hive Blockchain games as they will also get additional players from this influx of new Hivers.
