dCrops - Equipment takes Resources which are from Quest Chests

The next level of dCrops appears to be very interesting. So I started to take a look at what it would entail to start working in that direction.

To begin with, I noticed that to begin producing anything at the next level it takes equipment and to create equipment you must have resources.

Upon researching further, resources can only be found in Quest chests. Based on this, I need to focus on completing the quest chests each season.

Each season you must reset your quests which provides seven quests that need to be completed. The quests are based on that seasons seeds either by planting or harvesting or selling them.

Since I do not yet have any Tulip or Sunflower seed to plant, harvest or sell, I was thinking of rerolling those quest to get ones that I might be able to complete. However when I clicked the reroll button, it shows that it costs 10 CROP to reroll a quest. Since there are several of the quest that I would need to reroll and there is no guarantee that I would get a new quest that I could take action toward, I decided that is not yet a viable option.

I will need to wait until I have expanded my seed inventory before I will be able to start completing the quests.

New Season

Since it is the start of a new season, Spring, it is time to plant the seed that I do own. Maybe by planting mystery seed, I will receive the needed seed so that I can complete more of the quests each season.

The mystery seed turned into Dill and French Beans.

Both of the mystery seed turned into Beta crop seed. I won several mystery seed in the last contest but normally each mystery seed would cost 40 CROP however beta seed can only be used one time because upon use it is burnt so it is not possible to save these beta seed unless you receive them from a purchased Beta pack or buy them from the market.

On the market, the dill seed would cost 1100 CROP tokens and the french bean seed would cost 2000 CROP tokens. I really did get a lot of value from winning those mystery seed in that contest. Can't wait until the next contest starts.
