dCrops - Starter Equipment

dCrops is more than just a farming game where you plant seed in land each season, harvest sell. To take the next step you need to construct your "Starter Equipment"

I had always noticed there was more to dCrops than just seed and land but never thought about researching any further until I received a reward chest in the last event. I had seed resources for sell on the market but since I had a very limited amount of CROP Tokens, I was just going to focus on growing and harvesting.

However when I opened that chest and received Stone, Iron Ore, Salt and Gas, I knew that I would need to look further into what to do with those resources. I discovered you could use them to construct equipment.

Equipment

There are several different types of equipment within the dCrops game:

Equipment need to Refine resources, I am calling Starter Equipment. These include:

• Furnace - Needed to make Copper, Iron and Gold Ingots from Copper, Iron and Gold Ore and Charcoal

• Kiln - Needed to make Stone Slab from Stone and Charcoal and needed to turn Wood into Charcoal

• Saw Mill - Needed to make planks from Wood

Just based on this, it appears the first equipment you will need will be the Kiln to be able to produce Charcoal which is used in most of the refined resources needed for other equipment.

Equipment Construction

There are several different resources that are needed to construct any one of the three starter Equipments.

To Construct the Furnace, you will need:

• 10X Wood
• 10X Stone
• 3X Copper Ore
• 2X Iron Ore

To construct the Kiln, you will need:

• 20X Stone
• 5X Copper Ore
• 1X Iron Ore

To construct the Saw Mill, you will need:

• 15X Wood
• 10X Stone
• 5X Copper Ore
• 2X Iron Ore

Refined Resources Needed First

In looking at the requirements to build any one of the three starter equipment, you will need Copper and Iron ORE which you can only create yourself from the Furnace. Due to this, you will need to buy them from the market or get them in a reward chest.

To buy the ORE on the market, it will cost you:

• Iron Ore costs 8.19 Swap.Hive

• Copper Ore costs 0.43 Swap.Hive

Kiln Construction

I currently have 2X Stone and 1X Iron Ore. So for me to construct the Kiln I will need 18X more Stone and 5X Copper Ore.

I also forgot that I will need to buy the Kiln Template as well before construction could begin. I will need to start saving up if I want to advance to the next level of the dCrops game beyond just planting seed, harvesting then selling.

At least now I know what the Stone and Iron Ore that I received in the chest can be used for. I will need to see if I can get some more of those reward chests so that I can get more of those resources. The sooner I can get started on saving for the equipment the better but it may take several seasons before I will be there.
