IAAC - Day 164 Raising Chickens in the City With No Complaints
Today is Tuesday, November 16th and I am happy to be alive.
Our friend with whom we stayed with over the weekend, raises chickens in his backyard. In most big cities, having chickens in your backyard is prohibited. But the city our friend lives, does not have that type of restriction.
It is an older neighborhood where the houses are packed together on small lots. A lot of the older homes have been torn down and new zero lot town homes and condos were built in their place. Each morning we were there the rooster would crow at the break of dawn just like out on a farm. I was amazed the neighbors had not complained. When we lived in Dallas, the neighbors would also complain about almost anything.
