Progress Update - Facing the Bear

I have always been told, if you encounter a Bear, whatever you do, Do Not Run

I believe this to also be true in today's crypto market. Do Not Run

Is it true that running will only make things worse? I know if you sell all your crypto now, you will be locking in all of the declines or loses from the bear market. Who wants to lock in their loses? I know I don't.

I will quietly stand still while evaluating the current situation while Facing this Bear that we are encountering. Until a clear direction is established, I will continue Stacking Hive and Hive Engine Tokens.

Hive Target

I am targeting 2,500 Hive Power by the end of the year. I know it will be a stretch so I will be pushing my accumulation. I figure if I can get there or nearly there by the end of the year, the following year I could target pushing the rest of the way to 5,000 Hive Power. Wouldn't that be nice to reach.

I currently have 1112 HP, up 17 from last week. Still would like to have 1500 by end of June but I do not see that happening with my small accumulation per week. I know it will be very difficult to get to my goal by end of year but I am not going to stop trying because I am not where I want to be.

Author and Curation Rewards

This week, my 7 day Author rewards decreased slightly to 31.17 from 33.04 last week. Since I have no control over the value of the votes I receive, the value received from author rewards can fluctuate greatly. This can be expected at times. I am glad with the current market conditions that it did not decrease further.

The main thing is for me to consistently create content on a daily basis. I want to continue doing this so that I can get closer to my goals. However my 30 day Author rewards took a big jump to 140.17 from 111.00.

Similar to my author rewards, my 7 day curation rewards decreased to 1.44 from 1.70 last week. I have been working to have less of my curation in the dust threshold range. Until the prices stablize, I do not think my efforts are making an impact but I will continue to try.

Hive Account Growth

Another week that I was not able to add any additional Hive to my account. The only growth from from my author and curation rewards. I am hoping to be able to add more each week if possible but right now I am attempting to maintain.

Hive Curation

Just like the price of Hive and crypto in general, my Hive curation APR also took a hit decreasing to 6.52% from 7.81%. I try to target a curation APR between 8 and 10%. But in looking at the Curation rewards column, hardly any curation rewards are showing for today so later today my APR should reflect a higher percentage.

Hive Engine Tokens

I am making the most progress on my Alive holding. I have achieved 70.1% of my 2022 target. I know I still have a ways to goal but you must acknowledge progress when you have it considering the current state of crypto.

Here are my targets and progress for each of the specific tokens I have created a 2022 goal.

CTP - 25,000 - current holding 15,615 (removed 2000 delegation-in)
62.4% of Goal

Alive - 20,000 - current holding 14,021 (removed 1500 delegation-in)
70.1% of Goal

OneUp - 20,000 - current holding 6,315
31.5% of Goal

LEO - 1,000 - current holding 289
28.9% of Goal
