Progress Update - Perfect Storm

I would have to say there is a perfect storm going on in the global markets. There is so much fear, uncertainty and doubt that it is almost impossible to see past all of the negative news.

The markets are down from their all time highs which provides a perfect buying opportunity to those that have prepared for the long term. I consider the market down being a positive as you can see which projects are solid in their fundamentals and which were just riding the crypto price wave.

I am in the process of looking for some solid projects. This is the time to rebalance my portfolio to ensure that I am well diversified for either a long crypto winter or the next ride to the moon. You never know which one will happen next so best to review your holding to ensure they are on a solid foundation.

Hive Target

I am targeting 2,500 Hive Power by the end of the year. I know it will be a stretch so I will be pushing my accumulation. I figure if I can get there or nearly there by the end of the year, the following year I could target pushing the rest of the way to 5,000 Hive Power. Wouldn't that be nice to reach.

I currently have 1131 HP, up 19 from last week. Still would like to have 1500 by end of June but I do not see that happening with my small accumulation per week. So I will need to consider adding funds from other sources since the price of Hive is low compared where I believe it will be in a year.

I know it will be very difficult to get to my goal by end of year but I am not going to stop trying because I am not where I want to be.

Author and Curation Rewards

This week, my 7 day Author rewards decreased ever so slightly to 30.75 from 31.17 last week. Since I have no control over the value of the votes I receive, the value received from author rewards can fluctuate greatly. I would say that this is very consistent rewards that I am receiving week over week.

The main thing is for me to consistently create content on a daily basis. I want to continue doing this so that I can get closer to my goals. My 30 day Author rewards also held steady rising a tad to 140.62 from 140.17.

My 7 day curation rewards increased back to prior levels at 1.70 from 1.44 last week. I have been working to have less of my curation in the dust threshold range. I have more work to due on the dust threshold but I will take any progress that I am able to make.

Hive Account Growth

Another week that I was not able to add any additional Hive to my account so I will probably try to add more next week especially with it being Hive Power Up Day next Friday. I am hoping to be able to add more each week if possible but right now I am attempting to maintain.

Hive Curation

My Hive curation APR was able to recover to 7.88% from 6.52%. I try to target a curation APR between 8 and 10%. I believe if my Hive balance was larger there would be less dust and I should be able to have a curation rate between my target range.

Hive Engine Tokens

I am considering adding to my Hive Engine tokens to ensure that I make my year end targets. I know I still have a ways to goal. The tokens that I have chosen have several use cases that are important to me.

Here are my targets and progress for each of the specific tokens I have created a 2022 goal.
