Rising Star - Backward Progress?, My Ranking Fell by 11

I will be reviewing my progress on a weekly basis. I am looking to making great progress in Rising Star in 2022. I plan on being more intentional with my progress. So this post will help hold me accountable on a weekly basis.

First Week Progress

To be able to tell if you are making any progress toward anything you set out to do is to record your starting position and then periodically measure how far you have progressed since your last measurement.

This is my first full week to measure my progress in Rising Star. It reflects the progress I have made since Jan 5th.

Here are my Jan 12th stats:
Ranking: 1737 (-11)
Level: 40 (+2)
Fans: 699 (+132) (675 Cards, 24 Drunk)
Ego: 5% (-2%) (699 from Fans, 855 from missions)
Skill: 1469 (+248) (592 Cards, 877 Lessons)
Missions: 554 (First week to include in stats)

I was surprised that I dropped in ranking for the week because I had been completing missions on a daily basis. I did not think about the fact that as more players start playing, my rank is relative to everyone else's game play. Due to this, I have added the details of my ranking so that I can compare my progress in each component.

Weekly Pack Purchase and Opening

As part of my strategy to advance in Rising Star, I will be opening a pack each week from the prior weeks earned Starbits. I have been saving my Starbits for investing in Play2Earn.

After the pack purchase, I have 25,470 Starbits remaining on the Hive Engine and 615 in-game. If I can grow this balance, I may start to open two packs per week.

I received 1 Rare card and 2 Common Cards.
R125 Rentaw - 125 Fans, 75 Skill, 3 Luck and 2 IM
i51 Head Mic - 5 Luck
62 Angie - 10 Fans

I received more fans than skill so this will impact my ego a bit.

Stats After Pack Opening

After opening the pack, my ego jumped to 8% so I will need to run some music lesson missions to bring it back down. I want to target ego below 5% if possible.

The new cards also added enough fans so that I can start the Shopping Mall mission once my energy recovers.
