Rising Star - Lvl 78 Achieved and New Cards Released

Beginning of a new month, you know what that means. New Cards released. I was lucky enough to get all unique cards in this week's pack purchase. My ranking detail shows that I have 111 unique cards in my collection.

Weekly Progress

I have made it to level 78 but will not be able to run any of the new missions in the Country Tour area until I reach level 80. I am progressing slower than I would like but at least I am making progress.

I moved up some in the ranking but not yet below 1000 again. I recovered around 450 placed. I like staying below 1000. I am hoping the new unique cards will help me get back there.

Here are my Aug 2nd stats:
Ranking: 1288 (+429)

As you can see I still need to get my weekly minutes back up to over 5000 as well. This should help me tremendously in the ranking once I am able to do that.

Current Stats

I continue to work on improving my stats so that I can climb in the rankings and earn more Starbits. This week was no exception, on the growing my stats front anyway.

Weekly Pack Purchase

Still not luck getting the new S41 Abs card in the purchased pack. I really want to run the Summer Breeze mission before it goes away but I do not want to purchase the card since there are so many other unique cards priced lower.

I received the standard rare and two common in my pack.
R226 - 50 Luck
100 Candy - 10 Skill
i89 DLG 10 - 1 Luck

I think since the new cards were released yesterday that this is the main reason that all of the cards I received in my pack were unique. I have found that unique cards help with my ranking more than just getting duplicate cards.

Purchase Cheapest Unique Card

Since unique cards help your ranking, I am getting into the habit of purchasing the cheapest unique card on the market. I use https://rsgfam.com/ website to find and purchase the cards.

Currently for me the lowest priced cards have always been instruments. I guess until I get the majority of them it will be like this for a while. Today's cheapest card cost only 199 Starbits - i92 PK 125

I noticed two other cards were also listed for 199 Starbits and then the out of print i17 Didgeridoo was the next cheapest. Because of the price and the out of print instrument, I broke down and purchased three more unique instrument cards. I am really hoping this pushed me below 1000 ranking by my next week's report.
