Splinterlands - SHARE YOUR BATTLE - VENARI SPELLSMITH

There is a darker side to the Venari Spellsmith's that most do not know.

The Venari attend the Institute of Application where they become fluent in spellcasting. They become masters of using and casting spells. Through this dedication to the art of spellcasting that magic itself becomes part of them.

As they master this skill, magic flows more and more through their veins. Once they are at the highest point of their power, the magic is at it's strongest. This is when they are the most dangerous because if you are lucky enough to kill a master Venari Spellsmith, the magic inside the killed spellsmith will explode damaging all around them. But that is not lucky for you or the spellsmith.

My Venari Spellsmith is still learning the art so has not yet obtained that ability.

Venari Spellsmith

The Venari Spellsmith has a mana cap of 4 with 1 magic attack, 2 speed and 2 health. As a level 1, it has the dispel ability. This ability will clear any positive effects from the opponents attacked monster.

Venari Spellsmith card.PNG

Once this card is maxed out, it will have some incredible abilities including amplify and redemption. Redemption will inflict 1 hit of damage to every one of the opposing lineup if the Venari Spellsmith is killed.

Venari Spellsmith stats.PNG

Venari Spellsmith lore.PNG

Match Rule Set

Mana Cap: 99
Rule Set: Little League
Splinter: Water, Earth or Death available - selected Water

Two conflicting items in the Match Rule Set - Mana of 99 with Little League so the most mana that can be used is 28 since no card can be used with a greater mana cost than 4.

Starting Lineup.PNG

I selected the Water Splinter to add an extra amour to all of my lineup. I was very lucky they only used 1 card with magic.

I chose to add Venari Spellsmith to dispel any positive effects that may be added to their tank however none was used.

Did It Work?

I did win the match but I the Venari Spellsmith was not used to it's full extend. It was the first card that I lost as my opponent used a card with opportunity and the spellsmith was the first card that was attacked. I guess you could say that it provided a buffer to my other cards and let them last longer so that is the reason I won the match.

Would another card been as effect, who knows? Maybe I will give it another chance in my next lineup.
