Splinterlands - Sneak Quest Won By a Chicken
Yes, I knew it was possible but I had never seen it happen to me. The Chicken is the last monster standing. Well, I get ahead of myself.
Sneak Quest
I am working on my daily sneak quest and like just one more match to win to complete the quest. I had just moved up to Silver III so I was very happy and wanted to finish the quest so that I could receive two loot chests instead of the one that had received all season so far.
Early today, I had just finished a sneak quest so thought that I would be able to finish this one off hopefully faster than I had been completing them in the past.
I had one win left to finish the quest and I received a low 16 mana cap match with the Healed Out and Explosive Weaponry Rule Sets
Fire Splinter
Fire is my go to splinter in low mana matches and this one was no exception. I choose Tarsa since I had her at level 2. I normally go with start my line up with Living Lava but I thought I would try something different since this match had two rules that I had never experienced together before.
I selected Tenyii Striker as my card with the sneak ability. After choosing my summoner Tarsa (4 mana) and Striker (5 mana), I had 7 mana left to work with so I selected as many low mana cards as possible and threw the Furious Chicken at the end of my line up for good measure.
When I saw that my opponent had selected Death and placed the Cursed WindeKu with the thorns ability as their tank, I did not think I had a chance.
Start of Round 2
The Explosive Weaponry did its job for both sides and at the beginning of round two, it was still an even match and did not believe I had a chance. My saving grace was the +1 Melee provided by Tarsa and that I did not miss against their speed.
In the end, all that was left was my chicken which surprised me to no end. Here is the replay so that you can see for yourself.

Sneak Quest Completed
So you could say the Sneak quest was won by a chicken. Because this win, it completed my daily sneak quest. This win gave me three wins in a row which put me firmly into Silver III.
I received two loot chests with the quest completion for the first time this season. I received a Pelacor Conjurer and 4 DEC. The Pelacor Conjurer card was the first card I received so far this season. Since I had been down in Bronze, the odds of getting a card is very low. I was very happy to get a card.
For the first time since starting to play, I also did not need to rent any cards to be in Silver III League. Win-Win-Win.
