Splinterlands - Use PeakMonster Filters to Save Time when Buying

avatar

Now that I am growing my deck, it is important to keep up with the ones that you have and the ones that you do not have.

Last season, I would look at my deck in Splinterlands. I would identify which cards I did not have and wanted to add to my collection then I would go to PeakMonsters to see which ones had the best price to CP ratio.

This took a lot of time that I did not want to spend but knew that if I did not, I may end up purchasing cards that I already have in my deck.

Combine Filters

I started playing around and combining the various filters. Since I want to cover all of my common and rare cards so that I do not get a reduction on my ranked rewards, Focus points or Season points and I also play the Chaos Only deck in the Brawls and also enter some of the Chaos Only Tournaments, I want to focus on getting all of the Chaos cards first.

And since I want to maximize my points awarded for wins, I want to see about getting the gold version of those cards staring with the Common and Rare cards.

This brings back all of the cards in the Chaos deck and prior I would look up each card in my splinterland's deck then pick which one I did not have. It was a lot of card to go through.

Exclude Owned Filter

The other day, I was in the process of buying some cards and notice at the very bottom of the filter section on the left hand side of the screen a check box for Owned and Playable for "Exclude".

Magic Happened

I checked the Owned Exclude box and all the cards that I owned disappeared from the screen. The list was a lot shorter. I was surprised that there are only 11 gold cards that are common and rare that I do not own.

This list is a lot more manageable. A few of these I have already leveled up so now I can focus on growing my collection, increasing my season and focus rewards points and advancing to Silver II without doing a lot of research and buying duplicate cards.

I will be working to increase my collection power to 40,000 Silver II level hopefully by the time I win enough matches to get my rating back up to the Silver II level as well. Last season it took me about six days to get to that rating so I have several days before I will need to ensure I have bought or rented the collection power to get me there.
