Knowing the Future// Teaching by Pastor Eli Soriano, and my contribution.

Greetings Brethren, it's a pleasure to share my views and opinion from the lessons I learnt from Pastor Eli's teaching on knowing the Future.
Nonetheless, the following scriptures were used as he expounded His teaching in line with the subject matter;
John 14:29, Prov 16:9, Eccl 9:5, Heb 9:27, Eph 2:10.
Nevertheless, from John 14:29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.(KJV)
"Prophetic pronouncement are made by the Lord so that we may believe when it is fulfilled"- Pastor Eli Soriano.
This was one of the words of encouragement given by Jesus to His disciples before his death.
From here, it is understandable that Jesus knew his future, although many people may argue that it was on account of him being God. This is not absolutely true.
As Christians there are certain things about our future which the Lord will reveal to us before it happens. On the other hand, there are also things we have to pray to the Lord for him to reveal to us.
There are many ways through which we get to know our future as Christians. For instance, our future can be revealed to us through dreams, it could come through visions, and it could also come through knowledge, this is in agreement to our mundane nature.
The future of a Child of God is certain because God cannot count the unjust as just neither will He give an accolade or justify the unjust in the course of his iniquity.
Even the sinner has no peace because his conscience will always blame him for his wrongs. No one probably will obtain a travel permit for one country and then board a different aircraft that's taking another direction from his proposed or intended destination.
Proverbs 16:9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

Truly we have the power to shape our future. Whether it's our eternal future or our cosmostic future.
We can plan ourselves by devising strategic means on how our future should be but it does not lie in our hands to bring it to pass but so long as those plans are followed, ceteris paribus, they will all be fulfilled.
It can only take God to stop a man who has a lucid plan from succeeding. But so long as a man wakes up an goes through his plans each day, he must accomplish them. And we can see what God said in; Genesis 11:6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.(KJV)
From this reference scripture, we can also observe that nothing can stop a man from achieving his future goals except with the interference of divinity.
The issue with men is that most people have no plan about their future. God is not a wicked person to stop our good plans because he is with us even in our plans.
Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.(KJV)
One thing is certain to everyone. We all must die one day, despite our social status, race and technical know how.
If we have a future which which promises that we are destined to pass away one day, it should also be certain of our lives that there is a future we need to fulfill, despite the challenges.
So long as we are alive and breathing, we have a future to live and until this is fulfilled, we just wanted our years in vanity.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment(KJV)

This scripture is also in consonance with the hint in Ecclesiastes telling all men that we shall die and face judgement one day and no one can negate this truth because we have been observing this everyday, where people keep dieing and other being buried in daily bases. So the future which death is amongst is certain.
Death shouldn't be the only certainty which people or believers should subscribe to but we have to know some other things about our future and not only that we shall die someday.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.(KJV)

From the scripture above, we will observe that even before the creation of the world, God had ordained a living pattern which we are to live or walk in and we are to figure out this way as to walk in it as God's workmen who have come to believe in the savior Jesus Christ.

God wants the best for us, but he still gives us the privilege to decide how our future we be like, but most of us usually misuse this privilege that is why the devil is in control of us. God bless you brother for sharing this insightful thoughts
