Piercing's/Tattoo's
I believe many people have a different and personal reason and perspective about piercing or tattooing.
Piercing requires creating a hole in the skin for the purpose of inserting jewelry
Tattooing requires decorating the skin by inserting colored substances under the surface. The skin is punctured with a sharp instrument, which now is usually a solenoid-driven needle, that carries the inks to lower layers of the skin.

Actually! I know it can be natural for females to pierce their ears and some ladies add other parts like nose, tongue piercing because females like extreme beauty and fashion.
Females also often make up their face or tattoo their open body part, drawing a romantic image on her light skin for more attention and beauty.
However! Piercing and tattooing is not necessary for a man in my own view because a man should be more concerned with his work and goals than feminine fashion.
I'm not a piercing or tattoo person as a man, I've neither pierced nor tattooed my skin since birth till date.
Some people tattoo to enhance their appearance either as a model, a celebrity, for culture, ritual or religious reason, artistic freedom, business advert, for rebellious reason or to play a specific role in a movie as an actor/actress. So, i believe those who tattooed have reasons for doing that.
In Africa especially Nigeria, a tattooed man/woman can be seen as an irresponsible man/woman, based on the fact that most Nigerian cultures criticizes tattooing, despite this, some people still tattoo their skin not minding what anyone says or feels about it. At the same trail, Some religious Organizations like the christians criticizes tattooing as well. So holding to my religious background and believe I'm not expected to be a fan of piercing or tattooing as a man.
I have to be properly guided and show good examples to others around me. Besides, I don't criticize people who tattoo because i know they have personal reasons for doing that.
Anyways! This is just my own perspective regarding piercing or tattooing.

Our society do not encourage them especially with men, the tend to see those boys with tattoos as the bad guys and no parent likes seeing their children with tattoos.
