Hello my beautiful people of Hive! Today I wanted to make a special blog, a little long but I'm sure it will be worth it, I want to tell you my point of view about this new Dorama called Vincezo, the truth is very funny how I made the final decision to watch it, these days I had been watching several doramas including "Emergency landing to your heart" and I always saw the cover of "Vincenzo" but I never got to call my attention, to make that click and read the synopsis.

Until one day I decided to go to Youtube and watch the behind the scenes of the series I was watching, and I started to look at the other videos on the list and saw that the protagonists of "Descendants of the Sun" had divorced, so I immediately ran to watch the video, because for me they made a beautiful couple, until I started to read the comments and I was struck by the repetition of the phrase "Vincezo is the best", "I love you Vincenzo", "Who is watching Vincenzo right now" and things like that, this activated my curiosity and I decided to see the famous Vincenzo.

They were definitely right! From the very beginning the dorama grabs you, Vincenzo is a famous lawyer in Italy who works as a consigliere for an Italian mafia family that adopts him at a very young age and makes him part of their family. One of the things that most charmed and impacted me about this actor Song Joong Ki is his excellent Italian accent to perfection, and the way he interprets that emotion of anger that gives him the special and charming touch that melts us all.

I won't tell you the details for the sake of intrigue, but Vincenzo for major reasons must travel to South Korea, his native country, where he meets a very particular group of people who live in a property named Geumga Plaza, being in Korea Vincenzo contacts his friend Mr. Cho who helps him in many of the things he has to do in his stay in Korea, until he makes a big mistake.

The genre of this dorama is Crime, with a little touch of romance, so if you are expecting the typical love that we see in Korean doramas, well sorry to say but it will not be so, although one way or another you will fall in love with its plot, because it always leaves you with intrigue at the end of each chapter, writing this blog I just found out that the dorama is newly released on Netflix, so I do not know what is its end, at the moment I am in chapter 15.

For very strange reasons Vincenzo ends up getting involved with the daughter of Geumga Plaza's former lawyer, Mr. Hong Yoo-chan who was his defender against a conglomerate called Babel Pharmaceutical, which was looking to take down his property.

For obvious reasons Mr. Hong Yoo-chan is killed in his defense by the Geumga Plaza and Vincenzo decided not to stay idle, so curiously ends up joining Hong Cha-young lawyer and daughter of Mr. Yoo-Chan, this is a character that caused me much laughter, because it has a very peculiar personality, is not the typical protagonist of romances, goes a little comedy, is a very smart, ambitious and outgoing girl.

Vincenzo and Cha-young decide to join forces to destroy at all costs the Babel company, for many corrupt acts that are being perpetrated and going unpunished, and with many victims in between. This is where they will fight for justice in the style of the Italian mafia and is where the plot begins to take more body and becomes more interesting in each chapter.

Another of the characters of this series that is very peculiar, and at first seemed to me too over acted, or falling into a very little believable performance was the intern of the law firm "Woosang Law" the intern Jun-woo, the truth that I had seen previous performances of this actor, but I was surprised how false his character was, falling into something clumsy and naive but that will show you that not everything that glitters is gold. Of course! at the end you will discover the reason for his strange interpretation and you will find the sense of everything, you will see a 180º turn and how it ends up becoming the most masterful performance of all and even deserving of an Oscar.

I can also tell you a little bit about one of the most villainous characters I've ever seen in my life, the truth is one of those characters that you want to grab and give her a couple of slaps, because you can't believe her level of evil so impressive without having a little remorse for her actions, at the beginning I thought she belonged to the good side, she is the lawyer and prosecutor Choi Myung-hee her character leaves you dumbfounded by what she is capable of doing, I think I can say that I underestimated her.

This dorama focuses on the great acts of corruption that occur within a system and all that people are capable of doing to gain a little power and wealth. There are still many chapters left to reach the end of this series, so let's hope they surprise us with their final act and find out how all this interesting and funny story of the mafia world ends, I know you will fall in love with Vincenzo and all his characters.
