NIGERIA: HOME OF TALENTS π³π¬
Hey lovelies β€οΈ
It's your favorite girl @debbie-ese π
Welcome to my blog π€
Nigeria is a country that has been proven overtime to be blessed with great minds with impeccable talents and our tentacles have been spread to all the nooks and crannies of the world. It's amazing to be a Nigerian.
To be honest, when I first came across this contest, I took some time to think about what I love about my country and I had to sieve the good away from the bad and I arrived at a major point which I'm going to raise as this post progresses.
The COVID 19 pandemic struck the world as a surprise last year and the whole world was on lock down but trust me naija people ain't on lock down due to the talent that is in us. It would have been believed that all the people that are into entertainment would just be idle throughout the stay at home but it even gave people the opportunity to be more creative.
I was stunned with the lots of talents that rose during the pandemic. The pandemic was more of a blessing than a curse to so many Nigerians. It was a blessing in disguise. So many actors who couldn't go to the movie set had to result to making short clips in their homes and shared on social media platforms. Musical artistes hosted concerts in their homes and fans go follow the show in the comfort of their homes. Comedians held their annual shows and it was a great experience.
There are some people who do not believe they have particular talents because they have been busy going to 9am - 5pm jobs. These talents sprouted out with little or no efforts when they gave it a chance. From dancers, artists, artistes, comedians, magicians to language instructors among others, Nigeria is blessed with so many talents.
Nigerians have rooted themselves in every industry across the world. We don't limit ourselves. We are real hustlers. Nigerians are leading surgeons, cardiologists, realtors, teachers, software developers across the world. There is no industry in the world that you'd not find a Nigerian. We do not take no for an answer.
Well, this is not far-fetched. Let's take this wonderful Hive community as an example. Take a tour around and see the great contents produced by Nigerians across all communities - fantastic inspirational, educational, instructional and motivational contents that gets you glued to your screen.
Abeg, make I stop for here make another person see something write π

You are right, Nigeria has a lot of talented star but thier dreams keep on going down day by day because of lack of motivations, they have know supporters that will put them through why we have a lot of reaches in Nigeria.may God help us .
Amen. Thanks for your time
Woww... This is indeed a well thought out post. I'm one of those that bid farewell to 9-5 jobs due to the whole covid drama.
I was in the north at that time. Pandemic came and did it's magic. I still see the whole stuff as magic because I imagined that this would wreck a weak Country like nigeria, but inverse was the case.
I really dunno... Nigerians are good. No doubt about that. But Nigeria as a country is a different ball game π.
This post of yours will also be sent to @dreemport. I know that our readers will enjoy this.
Well Done
Nigerians don't carry last (the serious ones tho). We can survive in any condition as far as we set our minds to it.
Thank you @kenechukwu97 β€οΈ
Nigeria is a blessed country with different talents , but it just have to be discovered.
The pandemic has brought also have in positive impact in the lives of many Nigerians, majority come with one thing on the other to make sure the survive during the pandemic, they don't rely on the governments , that's to show how strong Nigerians are, we adapt to any situation we find ourselves.
Majority of people make a lot of money during that pandemic , thought to some people, it causes more harm than good, but in everything we should always see the positive side of everything.
Nice write-up, I was directed to your post via @dreemport, I I'm glad to come across your post....keep on hiving!
Discovering the talents we posses is one of the factors holding many of us back - we become successful in it when we discover them and we are dedicated to putting them into use.
I really appreciate your comments ππΎ
It my pleasure for stopping byπ
Nigeria is indeed a home of talents but you don't do justice to this. You ought to have mentioned the names of great Nigerians doing great exploits in different facets of life all over the world. We need to preach the good about Nigeria because the world has a wrong notion that the internet has sold to them.
When it comes to Nigeria, we are indeed hustlers
Hi @zyzymena ,thanks for stopping by.
Truly agreed with your viewpoint @debbie-ese, last year for the first time I interacted with these beautiful people who are multi-talented not only in writing but also in winning the hearts of others too
Proudly to be saying this my @dreemport family having a multi-culture family is the best among all and my Nigerians fellows treat me amazingly. As we both have greens and white colors common in flagβ€
I'm glad to hear that you've had amazing time with some Nigerians too. Thanks for your comment π³π¬ π΅π°
