Well, the traditional 9 to 5 work still exists in a lot of companies where you rush out in the morning, try to avoid the morning rush, and also repeat the same process in the evening but more companies are switching to a remote work policy where you can easily work from the comfort of your home and from the office as well - depending on your choice. I have a friend who go to the office on Monday, work from home on Tuesday, go to the office on Wednesday, work from home on Thursday and go to the office on Friday. However, during the days when she will be in the office some of her colleagues will be at home, when she's at home some others will be in the office. Even though remote work is not suitable for every business, it is a good option for some roles in some companies especially in the technology sectors.
The work from home trend is one that is not popular in this part of the world some years back but due to the COVID-19 lockdown it was an option so many companies have to embrace. It is quite difficult for the society to fully accept this trend in the sense that some people would feel you're out of job or you're into some shady business when you are constantly at home and glued to your computer. It may be somewhat hard to let them understand that you are working for your company from your house. I have a friend who designs website and mobile apps for companies from the comfort of his room - he told me his neighbors were suspecting him to be an internet fraudster because his generator is always on and the reflection from his computer can be easily spotted from outside throughout the day.

This new trend in this part of the world is a welcome initiative by so many employees and employers inclusive for so many reasons. Remote jobs give workers the opportunity to work based on their lifestyle and give room to attend to other things. For instance, if you know you are more productive in the early hours of the morning, you can tailor your working routine to suit your style. The flexibility that remote jobs offer is one of the many reasons that it is becoming popular by the day. In other words, employees are happy to work and more productive because they have a flexible schedule.
Productivity will definitely increase in a remote job if the employee is success driven. The stress of leaving your house as early as possible in the morning and hoping from bike to cab can be tiring and reduce productivity, so working from home can get rid of the stress thereby increasing productivity. Also, productivity can be reduced in the workplace due to so many distractions from side talks, gossips, etc. But in a remote working environment it can be reduced to a barest level especially if you are home alone and this will make you work for more hours and increase productivity.

Remote work is not only profitable for employees. Employers also benefits from this trend. As an employer, it is easy to have access to the best of the best employees to work for your company even though they are not residing close to your office. Remote work gives you more options to hire top rated staff and not limiting yourself to the people that live within your vicinity only. There are some people who are good in their fields but they do not have the financial means to move closer to their opportunities, so remote work can be their answered prayers.

They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?
I also like working remotely. This both increases my performance and I can spare more time for myself. 9 am to 5 pm working system is not for me unless I have to.
