The world's leading cryptocurrency exchange, crypto.com has launched a shopping feature through which users would be able to purchase from over 150 renowned brands including Nike, Apple, Ray Ban via the meme coin Shiba Inu (SHIB) and other renowned cryptocurrencies.

According to the announcement by crypto.com, shoppers will get up to 10% back in pay rewards on their shopping they do through the App of crypto.com. This means that users will receive a part of their spending as a reward for every transaction.

According to crypo.com, the feature is currently for the US citizens only.

Back in November 2022, crypto.com revealed that the exchange have nearly 20% of its reserve in Shiba Inu equaling $558M worth of SHIB. However, that has now reduced and presently the exchange holds $71M worth of SHIB in its reserves.

This move could prove helpful for the meme coin in finding utility when users in the United States start using Shiba Inu for purchasing different renowned brands on the platform.

Irrespective of the fact that some people don't seem to agree with the creation of these meme coins as they say it lacks the fundamentals or utility, but there are some prominent places from where meme coins are getting support. Like the support of Elon Musk for Dogecoin, to the extent that he swapped Twitter's bird logo with the logo of Dogecoin for some time before. For me, it was an odd thing to see but yeah it happened.
And now crypto.com has allowed users to purchase from 150+ renowned brands with Shiba Inu on it's platform.

Meme coins have become very popular in recent few years and reportedly have been at the forefront of conversations going around crypto investment.

Crypto communities have proven that they posses a unique power, specifically when it comes to the meme coins.
