As you said paradigm shift is required for us to go any further. Right now, being stucked in ancient socio-political structures and income inequalities (wages-growth falling behind productivity growth) meaning constant lack of money in the system are two biggest factors keeping as from progress. Decentralized crypto-economy is the answer, this is paradigm shift we need.

Yes the fact there isnt enough money in the system (since it is locked up into the banking and financial sector) means that funding for projects that lead to a paradigm shift is not done to the degree it should be.
This is eating into our economic progress.
