avatar

In this post we are going to take a look at How to Create Function in GDScript using Godot Engine.

In previous tutorial, I have covered the start of usage of the GDScript. In that we learned how to create the function. And then we are going to create the function which can be used in the GDScript. From this point onwards we are going to use the function in various individual options for each sprite and the objects.

This is 6th post in the series of the Godot engine tutorial. If you have not followed this series from the tutorial 1 I'd recommend you to check out the table of content from the below and then choose which other tutorial you want to check. You would get into another post that would have video for specific tutorial points.

So let's get started with below video and you can check the TOC below if you want to access the previous tutorials.

Now check out the Video tutorial below in order to Create Function in GDScript for your game project.

There are lot of things one can explore in the godot engine. And as you explore the gdscript the concept gets even more deeper. You have variables, functions, arrays and other data structures to explore like any other language. Pretty interesting gdscript that you get to learn. And I hope to cover some of the concepts from it in near future.
