5 types of weird house guests

Every once in a while, a few house guests invade your home and destroy your peaceful routine of caffeine-Netflix-pretending to work-sleep.
Here are the 5 weird types that I've encountered

1- The "Freeloader" who couldn't afford a hotel so decided to stay at your house. They are often self-invited, and quickly annex a room at your home. They apparently don't bring anything - slippers, towels, food, money, dignity.
Their sole motive is to save money, usually, they are distant relatives or forgotten friends who suddenly want to "reconnect".

2- The "Wanderer" who comes to just sleep at your place and essentially wants to explore the city. They pull a vanishing act after their first introduction. The only indication that they are there is an unkept extra bed.

They are usually unproblematic but sometimes they want to drag you out along with them to be their unofficial tour guide.
That's when you embarrassingly find out how little you know your own city.

3- The "explorer" are usually close relatives that like opening your embarrassing drawers, googling your medicine cabinet prescriptions, "finding" your clothes that "fit them better" and generally conducting a police raid at your own home.

4- The surprise "babysitter escapee" harassed parents who want to feel normal for a day, and leave their young charges in the care of a surprised host before they can protest.
The author kinda feels for them.

5- The "Moms" Be it your mom or mother-in-law, will complain about everything in the house. From the type of glasses, you have to the direction of your bed. These guests are relentless and sometimes get involved in ORGANIZING ie moving your things so you have no idea where anything is at your own home.
