[WE 126] Weekend Package: A Dream Come True!

“Stupid phone!” I yell angrily as I fling my phone on the bed. I quickly look over, hoping it landed safely and not on the floor. “Phew!” I say with a sigh of relief because I really can't afford the money to repair or buy a new one if it's damaged now. But on a serious note, this phone is really frustrating and I wish a new one would just fall into my hands right now.

For a while now, my current phone has been too problematic for me and it's been hindering my activities, including hive blogging. The battery doesn't seem to last 12 hours anymore, even though fully charged. It keeps hanging and heating up, not to mention the storage capacity and everything else that is quite shitty. At this point, I'm exhausted! 🤦😪

“I need a new phone!” I scream again for the umpteenth time. Just then, I hear the door bell ring. I wonder who could be knocking on my door this Saturday morning. Trudging towards the main door, I yank the knob to find no one other than a small brown box lying on my porch. On the box is boldly written; “A package for Dimma”. Obviously, that's my name so there's no way it's a mistake right? Even though I didn't place an order nor expect any delivery package, I look around once more, shrug and carry the box inside.

Inside my room, I'm about opening the package but on a second thought, I pause. “What if it's a bomb or a trap?”… Oh c'mon now, this isn't some movie 😏. Rather than my series of what ifs, I'm more curious about finding out what exactly is inside this supposed package. “Well, it better be something nice.” I say as I finally tear open the box.

“Oh my Gosh!!!” I squeal in excitement 🤩. It's an iphone box and inside the box is an actual iphone 14 1TB ROM. Crazy right? It all feels too surreal, so I wipe my eyes but it's still right in front of me. Yes, I've always wanted a new and better phone but an iphone 14?? Yooo! That's way over my expectations. I don't even bother thinking about who must've sent this extravagant gift, I just turn it on, mesmerizing over it's beauty and amazing features.

With this new phone, I won't have to worry about my battery not lasting a day… I won't have to worry about my phone storage filling up too fast… I can smoothly carry out my blogging activities without hindrances and I can also begin my photography journey. This new phone of mine would surely bring loads of positive impacts. At least now, my challenges will lessen.

I'm literally burning up from excitement right now… this is such a dream come true and I couldn't be more happier 🤭.
