NEWS 98th biggest ETH whale adds 300 billion SHIB – trading volume spikes 52%, and network performs more than 50,000 transactions

Ethereum block explorer and analytics platform, Etherscan.io reported the transactional activities of the 98th biggest SHIB holder. The whale splashed approximately $3,417,000 ($3.41M) to acquire a sum of 300,000,000,000 (300B SHIB). Within 24 hours, the mouth-watering purchase was sealed with two transactional activities.

According to the reports, the SHIB investor bought 200,000,000,000 SHIB in the first recorded transaction. The first purchase was worth $2,278,000. The whale further initiated another transaction, where 100,000,000,000 SHIB was purchased for $1,139,000. This second transaction was done less than three hours after the initial transaction.

The 98th biggest SHIB holder transferred a sum of 19,928,406 SHIB after the purchase in two separate transactions to two anonymous wallets. Last month, SHIB announced the burn of 61,169,479 tokens. Thirteen transactions burned the disclosed amount; two wallets mysteriously burned over 45.80M SHIB. The burning of the SHIB token has significantly reduced the circulating supply and spiked the price tremendously. The Shiba Inu community has continued to burn more tokens in this bearish season. Currently, the circulating supply of the SHIB token is 549,063,278,876,302 SHIB.

After the massive acquisition of 300B SHIB, the trading volume of the world’s most popular canine-themed cryptocurrency has skyrocketed. The token has received over a 52 percent spike pushing the total to $275,451,501 (275.45M). Over 50,000 transactions have taken place on the SHIB network since the purchase. It is safe to say that this mysterious 98th biggest SHIB holder has influenced the movement of the crypto asset.

The Shiba Inu currently trades at $0.00001112. The token has gained a 1.3 percent increase in price in the last 24 hours. The Ethereum-based project retains its rank as the 14th by market capitalization. SHIB has a market capitalization of $6,107,508,748.

The Shiba Inu community hopes that the global release of Shiba Eternity will positively affect the token. On September 17, Shiba Eternity was unveiled in Australia. Rumored speculations indicated that the game would be officially released on October 1.

However, the official Twitter account of Shiba Inu confirms that the global launch will take place on October 6. It will give access to members of the Shiba Inu FanBase to download Shiba Eternity. Shiba Eternity is a multiplayer collectible card game featuring thousands of SHIB-inspired games. The recent price of SHIB ranges from $0.00001091 to 0.00001118.
