Covid-19 is more than 3 times deadlier than common flu, says WHO:
“Globally, about 3.4% of reported COVID-19 cases have died. By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1% of those infected.”

The major of deaths or people 80 years or older.
People in their 20s - 30s have a 0.03% chance of dying from it, and that's the narrative.

That is not what the scientific studies that I read says:
https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/data/mortality
Ummm, that "scientific study" doesn't break it down based on age.
Almost all of the deaths are in the 80 years old+ bracket, and accounts for most of the deaths
Look for a scientific study that breaks it down by age, and you'll see the risk for people in their 20's/30's

Regardless of age, considering only the number of deaths, it is 3 times deadlier than common flu, by far.
Whatever you say, but it does not justify destroying small and medium businesses worldwide, and handing it on a silver platter to #BigTech, #BigBusiness and in some cases, Governments.
They should be free to go out.

All I am saying is that this disease is desperately deadly, and I advice people to do social distancing and stay home as much as they can to save lives. At no moment I said that all governments around the world are well intentioned.
But the majority is, that is for sure. And we are in the middle of a war that have already killed millions. And in the middle of wars you have to close businesses too.
Ummm, the war I am seeing is not mankind against a virus, but Governments against their citizens . .
( some of which who do their Government's bidding, not realizing it's against society at large )

The war I see has already 2 million deaths around the world.
Deaths that were calcuated by anyone who died within 28 days of testing positive on a Covid-19 test.
If you don't believe me, check UK's official methodology for determining Covid deaths.
You yourself said it was stupid, but don't know its what they actually use.

I don't care the real cause of the deaths, only the amount of them. If they are dying from unknown csuses other than covid, worse yet. The fact is that people are dying by the millions and until proven otherwise the main cause is covid.
Ummm, it is proven otherwise.
With the deaths in 2020, its the same, or as for the #Philippines, LESS people died here.
Posted via D.Buzz
If your rationale says to you it is proven otherwise, good luck to you with it.
Ummm . .
If the same amount of people died in 2020 as 2018 than how is it as a deadly as You say?
If the death rate for people under 70 years old is 0.1%, why are You and others afraid?

Because the specialists are saying. If you prefer to believe in the statistics of conspiracists without a perr review, good luck.
It's not "the specialists" who are saying it.
It's obvious you haven't checked the actual data or specialists outside of that group.

I don't trust opinion of individual specialists, but studies done by a group of specialists and ready to be peer reviewed. Otherwise, it is only somebodys speculation, not science.
You would be better of starting a war against car accidents using your methodology:
Posted via D.Buzz
Car accidents are not contagious and they do not kill those who do not want to take the risk.
You are waaaay there IMO and IMO car accidents are a perfect example.
If you watch the video, it's a comedy, and it explains how silly it is to lockdown.
Posted via D.Buzz
Car accidents only kills those who know they are accepting the visible risks, and btw there are social rules and laws created to minimize them. More so, driving serves a social economic purpose.
Okay, so stay locked up in your house wrapped in face masks, face shields, whatever you need..
And then let everyone else who's not scared to death of death (willing to take the risk), live their life without Government intervention.
Posted via D.Buzz
No, if you live in society you need to obey rules. That's why there are rules to drive a car.
Umm, just rules should be followed, unjust rules should not.
Posted via D.Buzz
Agree. Rules must benefit more than harm. That is why that makes a lot of sense to have rules to drive a car for instance.
The rules surrounding Covid-19 cause more harm than benefits IMO.

I think the majority of the scientists disagree with you. But there will always be the conspiracists.
