That was quick. 20% here we go!

I feel like this change happened super fast. Maybe I missed all the discussions about it. I only started seeing posts about 24 hours ago.

Well now we can earn 20% on our HBD saving. That is pretty big for a stable coin.

Here are a few thoughts.

  1. I think will bring outside eyes. It may take some time though. Investors will want to make sure it is not going to jump around a bunch. If next week it drops back to 12% it will scare them off. The hight interest paid on terras stable coin drew in a huge crowd.

  2. I am thinking about pulling some money out of the stock market and putting it into hbd savings. My dad would think I am an idiot. He loves just putting money in the s and p 500 and in real estate.

  3. I am going to spread the word. Pretty cool to see numbers like this and I want people to dive into it and learn about the hive world.

This is pretty epic!!! I'm not even sure what I should do first really. My mind is too blown. I may have to make a plan soon. Great news! I'll try and spread the word too!

From what I have seen, I think the inflation on Hive won't change too much in the short term so I don't think the interest rates will drop. Of course, I think only around 11 of the top witnesses have voted 20% so it's still a decent chance that it may drop. 20% returns are amazing but it must hold to assure people.

Also a little surprised to see it quickly implemented. It brings a good way to market hive. Would be greatly increasing my savings over there and spreading the word also
