I'm also very curious about this. No way to know in advance, but there might be some bridging / sharding that will bring EVM-compatible smart contracts on Hive, via Telos. That would open a huge world of possibilities.
EVM seems to be the most popular virtual machine for DeFi platforms. Other chains have integrated it too.
Just a small observation: from what I know, BSC runs on Cosmos, with an EVM implementation made by tendermint. I might be wrong, but happy to be corrected if someone knows better.

Thanks for the clarification.
It is exciting to think about the possibilities. We will have to be patient to see what emerges. Having access to EVM could really help Hive initiatives.
